If you work in, support, participate in or enjoy culture in Ottawa – your voice counts!
The Arms Length Cultural Development Feasibility Study needs your ideas on how to strengthen and advance our cultural community. Community input has been highly valued and appreciated over the past months
Join the Options Validation session to hear the consultants’ recommendations. Offer your feedback at this final community feedback session.
When: Wednesday, November 28, 2018, 7 p.m.
Where: Knox Presbyterian Church 120 Lisgar St, Ottawa
Come prepared. A significant portion of the consultants’ research and analysis was shared in a September 2018 Briefing Paper. People who plan to attend the Options Validation session should ideally have attended previous sessions and be familiar with the content of the Briefing Paper.
As you read the Paper, if you have questions, comments or suggestions that you’d like the consulting team to take into account, please submit them to email@example.com.
Community feedback sessions are scheduled by the independent consulting team in each phase of the study.
- Research Phase (complete): In May 2018, the first community feedback session provided information about the study and research so far. It also sought input on the cultural sector’s needs and priorities and gathered input about some of the options for advancing Ottawa’s cultural sector more effectively. An online cultural community needs assessment survey was also widely disseminated during this phase.
- Analysis Phase (complete): In June 2018 the independent consulting team shared preliminary results from the research phase. A second session was held on September 24 seeking feedback on a short-list of potential options for advancing Ottawa’s cultural sector more effectively.
- Validation Phase (ongoing): Results of the analysis phase will be validated at the final community feedback session on November 28 at 7 p.m. The results will be incorporated into the final recommendations. Register here.
